Out of The Closets, Into The Streets

This week, host Jon Lovett and a cadre of your favorite queers came together to bring you Out of The Closets, Into The Streets, a pride livestream full of comedians, musicians, drag queens, and activists from all over the Kinsey scale. Appearances included Jon Lovett, Ira Madison III, Louis Virtel, Tig Notaro, Ronan Farrow, Hannah Einbinder, Jared Goldstein, Danica Roem, Brendan Scannell, RB, Laci Mosley, and so many others!

Thanks to you all, during the stream we were able to fundraise over $50,000 for the Trans Justice Funding Project, a community-led funding initiative to support grassroots, trans justice groups run by and for trans people across the United States.

If you missed out on the show, don't worry! You can catch highlights in this week's episode of Lovett or Leave It or watch in full on our YouTube channel. New episodes of Lovett or Leave It every Saturday wherever you get your podcasts.

All About Our Donation Partner

The Trans Justice Funding Project is a community-led funding initiative to support grassroots, trans justice groups run by and for trans people across the United States. For TJFP, community-led means centering and supporting trans leadership. Their unique funding model makes grants annually by bringing together a panel of trans justice activists from around the country and every penny raised goes to grantees with no restrictions and no strings attached. Since their founding in 2012, they’ve distributed more than $4.5 million in grants through their community-led process.
