At Crooked, we believe the answer to a rising authoritarian movement is a democratic movement powerful enough to fight it and (fingers crossed) defeat it.
That means using all the tools at our disposal as a media company to help build a massive, diverse coalition united behind a core set of democratic values: freedom, equality, compassion, and the rule of law.

Compensation
We offer competitive pay based on the market, and select employees are eligible for commission or bonus pay. We also provide a 100% match on all contributions up to 4% of annual salaries.
Health & Wellness
We’ve got you covered – literally. Our medical, dental, and vision plans come with 100% company-paid premiums for employees on the majority of plans, as well as generous – contributions towards dependent premiums, including non- married and/or same-sex partners, and children (bio, step and foster). We also offer flexible spending accounts for those just-in-case moments, and employer-paid life insurance.
Time Off
We’re big fans of time off and offer generous vacation and sick time including 14 paid holidays, and paid “Summer Days”. We cover various paid leaves, including jury duty, bereavement, pregnancy loss and disability leaves. No matter how your family grows, we provide 20 weeks of paid parental leave for all new parents (birth, non-birth, foster, or adoption). And to close out the year, we have an annual Quiet Period where we shutdown for 2 weeks.
Stipends & Other Perks
Our employees receive monthly communications stipends, paid parking or public transportation reimbursements, and Per Diem for anyone hitting the road for our tour shows. For any out-of-state candidates, we offer relocation bonuses to help ease the stress of moving. We also support giving back through company donation matches to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations. And of course, team members receive company merch—because everyone here is a Friend of the Pod!
Professional Growth
We’re all about helping our employees continue to achieve excellence in their professional journeys and to support that, we provide professional development stipends, employee resource groups, management training, and aim to cultivate a company culture of open feedback and honest communication.
Collaborative Workplace
We host monthly All-Hands, volunteer opportunities, celebrate heritage months, employee events and celebrations, and encourage employees to attend our many live recordings and shows throughout the year.
