Ryan

First elected in 2002, Tim Ryan currently serves in the House of Representatives for Ohio's 13th congressional district. Prior to serving in Congress, Ryan was a member of the Ohio State Senate, and once wrote a book about meditation (do we think he and Marianne Williams have bonded on the campaign trail about it?) Ryan received his B.A. from Bowling Green State University, and graduated with his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire. Learn more about Representative Ryan below:

Why are you running

“When our local GM factory was shut down last Thanksgiving, I got a call from my daughter who was consoling her friend whose father was an auto worker and was just laid off. My daughter said to me... “You have to do something.” That’s why I am running for President. It’s time to do something.”

— Tim Ryan

His name is Mitch McConnell, and he sucks.

Every election matters. Even the ones that aren't as sexy as those Iowa caucuses.
