Joe Sestak is the 25th Democrat to announce he’s running for president, choosing to launch his bid for the nation’s highest office hours before we launched this website, so sorry we don’t have any jokes or fun facts for him, we’re doing the best we can. Sestak served in the House of Representatives for Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District from 2007 to 2011. Before getting to Capitol Hill, Sestak served in the Navy for 31 years, sailing his way to the rank of three-star admiral and a position as Director of Defense policy for Bill Clinton. Sestak graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and received his M.P.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard. Learn more about him below:
