Elizabeth Warren is the senior Senator from Massachusetts. Before she arrived in the Senate, Warren was the chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel during the 2008 financial crisis, and was appointed by President Obama to build the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from the ground up. Warren was also a law professor at Harvard for over three decades, and arguably has the cutest dog (Bailey) of any candidate running for president.
